Wellston Wildlife Area

The Adventure…
Wellston Wildlife Area is a great place for sportsmen. Fishing, hunting, and birding are popular activities. The wildlife area is home to Lake Rupert - a 2 mile long and 28 foot deep lake stocked with Northern pike, walleyes, largemouth bass, bullheads, bluegills, and channel catfish. Rabbits and squirrels are the most sought-after game species, but hunting is also popular for waterfowl, deer, and grouse.
